Error 2 - Startup Load Error (CY-C Series)

"Error 2" occurs during the power-on self-test. It means the balance has detected an invalid weight (load) on the weighing pan while it is trying to initialize its internal zero-point.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Ensure the weighing pan is completely empty and that no foreign objects are touching it.
2. Check that the weighing pan is correctly seated on the weighing shaft. If it is tilted or touching the draft shield, the balance will misread the start-up load.
3. Power the balance OFF and then back ON.
4. If the error persists after ensuring the pan is clean and correctly seated, the balance may require a zero-point re-calibration by a qualified technician.
