"Err 01" triggers specifically when you are using the "Piece Counting" or "Percentage Weighing" applications. It means the sample weight you placed on the pan to establish the initial 100% reference (or the 10-piece reference) is too light for the load cell to calculate an accurate baseline.
How to Fix:
1. Increase your sample size. Instead of placing 10 pieces on the scale to establish the reference weight, place 50 or 100 pieces.
2. Once the scale has a heavier physical baseline to work with, it will accept the reference, and you can begin counting or percentage weighing normally.
