A tank weighing system is only as accurate as its mechanical foundation. If the tank legs are uneven, the load cells will bind, causing severe weight discrepancies.
Critical Leveling Requirements:
1. Use a spirit bubble leveler to verify that all floor grouting plates and load cell kit mounting surfaces are perfectly flat[cite: 11].
2. Check the tank legs: Ensure the heights of all tank legs are within a strict 1-2mm tolerance[cite: 11].
3. Ensure the bottom surfaces of all the tank leg plates are horizontally flat and sit at the exact same level[cite: 11].
4. Position all of your load cell kits on the planned mounting locations[cite: 11]. Before placing the tank, use a water tube leveler to ensure every single load cell kit is sitting at the exact same height[cite: 11].
5. Note: In their locked shipping condition, 10-ton kits sit at exactly 115mm high, and 3-ton kits sit at 113mm high[cite: 11].
