How to Bypass Password and Unlock Essae RX-850

If a store manager has set a User Password on the RX-850, you will be locked out of crucial menus like Hardware Configuration, Diagnostics, and Label Settings[cite: 8].
How to Override the Password:
1. Press the [Menu] soft key.
2. When prompted for the password, enter the Master Override Password: 2507[cite: 8].
3. You now have full temporary access to the system.
How to Clear the Old Password Completely:
1. Enter the Menu using the 2507 override password[cite: 8].
2. Navigate to [Settings] > [Set Password][cite: 8].
3. The screen will prompt "New Password?"[cite: 8]. DO NOT type anything.
4. Simply press the [Enter] soft key while the field is completely blank[cite: 8].
5. The screen will display "Cleared"[cite: 8]. The scale is now permanently unlocked for all users.
