A&D JM Series RS232 Connection Guide

The A&D JM Series supports RS232 communication for connection with computers, printers and data collection systems.

Procedure
1.) Turn OFF the scale.
2.) Connect the RS232 cable securely.
3.) Connect the other end to the computer or printer.
4.) Turn ON the scale.
5.) Open the receiving software on the connected device.
6.) Perform a test weighing.
7.) Verify that the weight value is transmitted correctly.

Notes
1.) Use a good quality RS232 cable.
2.) Ensure both devices use compatible communication settings.
3.) Secure all connections before operation.
