A&D HD Series Tare Function Guide

The Tare function removes the weight of a container, allowing only the net weight or piece count to be measured.

Procedure
1.) Turn ON the scale.
2.) Place the empty container on the weighing pan.
3.) Wait until the STABLE indicator appears.
4.) Press the TARE key.
5.) Confirm that the display returns to zero.
6.) Add the product and begin weighing or counting.

Notes
1.) Always tare the container before storing unit weight.
2.) Use a stable container for best accuracy.
3.) Repeat tare whenever a different container is used.
