A&D GH Series Internal Calibration Procedure

A&D GH Series Internal Calibration Procedure
The A&D GH Series analytical balance features an automatic internal calibration system that maintains weighing accuracy without requiring external calibration weights. Internal calibration compensates for temperature changes and ensures reliable measurement performance in laboratory environments.

Procedure:

Step 1:
Place the balance on a stable vibration-free surface.

Step 2:
Connect the AC adapter and allow the balance to warm up for at least one hour.

Step 3:
Ensure the weighing pan is completely empty.

Step 4:
Press and hold the CAL key until CAL IN appears on the display.

Step 5:
Release the key and allow the automatic internal calibration process to start.

Step 6:
Do not touch the balance or create vibration during calibration.

Step 7:
Wait until END appears on the display.

Step 8:
Verify weighing accuracy using a certified test weight if required.

Tips:

• Perform calibration before critical measurements.
• Avoid drafts and vibration.
• Always keep the weighing chamber closed during calibration.
• Internal calibration improves long-term weighing accuracy.

Internal calibration should be performed after installation, relocation, significant temperature changes, or according to laboratory quality procedures.
