A&D GH Series External Calibration Procedure
External calibration allows the A&D GH Series analytical balance to be adjusted using certified calibration weights for maximum measurement accuracy.

Procedure:

1. Warm up the balance for at least one hour.
2. Remove all objects from the weighing pan.
3. Press and hold the CAL key until CAL OUT appears.
4. Release the key.
5. The display will show the required calibration weight.
6. Place the specified certified weight carefully on the pan.
7. Wait until calibration completes automatically.
8. Remove the weight after END appears.

Recommendations:

• Use Class E2 or F1 certified weights.
• Perform calibration in a draft-free environment.
• Never touch calibration weights with bare hands.
• Use tweezers or gloves for analytical weights.

External calibration provides traceable accuracy required for laboratories and quality control applications.
