A&D EK-i EW-i Calibration Procedure
The A&D EK-i / EW-i series supports external calibration using certified standard weights to maintain weighing accuracy.

Procedure

Step 1

Place the balance on a stable and level surface.

Step 2

Connect power and allow a warm-up period of at least 30 minutes.

Step 3

Verify that the weighing pan is empty.

Step 4

Press and hold the CAL key until calibration mode appears.

Step 5

Release the key.

Step 6

The display requests the required calibration weight.

Step 7

Place the certified calibration weight on the pan.

Step 8

Wait until END is displayed.

Step 9

Remove the calibration weight.

Tips

• Use certified calibration weights.

• Avoid vibration during calibration.

• Perform calibration after transportation or temperature changes.

• Keep the weighing pan clean.
