This system symptom occurs when placing a known mass or sample onto the platter results in zero variation or movement on the digital LED screen.
Root Causes:
- Improper initial platter positioning or binding of the inner core mechanism.
- Mechanical locking pins or transit components are obstructing internal travel.
Corrective Diagnostics & Countermeasures:
1. Remove the stainless steel pan completely and carefully re-seat it square onto the pan pins.
2. Inspect carefully inside the weighing area through the glass shield to ensure the metallic pan structure is floating independently and not touching the external housing outer framework.
