MEMORY NOT CONNECTED - Data Logging & Printer Error

MEMORY NOT CONNECTED
⚙️ Model Compatibility: Essae DS-215HD Heavy Duty Scale.

If your scale displays "MEMORY NOT CONNECTED" when trying to save a transaction or print a receipt, the motherboard is failing to communicate with the internal 32KB data memory chip, or data saving has not been properly enabled.

Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Verify that your scale is set to "Custom Print Format". The DS-215HD can only save data memory records when using a custom format, not standard formats.
2. Check the hardware specification T15. (MSD must be set properly to allow both saving and printing).
3. To clear a corrupted memory bank, you can connect a PC via RS-232 and send the command "Ctrl+D" to delete all records.

Hardware Note:
If the internal EEPROM memory chip has burned out due to electrical surges, the scale will no longer store your 1000 transaction records. If memory tracking is critical to your dispatch operations, contact UP Scales via WhatsApp to upgrade to a modern, fully networked weighing terminal.
